The Journey from Football Hero to God’s Hero
Rev. Dr. Noel Joe White is a ninety year old, lifetime resident of Adair County, Oklahoma. He is a veteran of the Korean War, having fought battles on “Old Baldy.” Dr. White received his B.A. Social Studies/Phys Ed, MS. Educational Administration at Northeastern State University; Theology degree at West Texas Basin School of Theology; Ph.D. Theology at Hawaii Christian University.
Coach White, as he is well known for, was a teacher to both junior high and high school students from 1957 to 1986 in Kansas, Colorado, and Oklahoma. He was head football coach for Stilwell, Oklahoma and Westville, Oklahoma for several years, leading both to celebrated, hard fought victories and titles. He has numerous awards as Coach of the Year, and nominated for Oklahoma Coaches Hall of Fame.
Coach White received Jesus Christ into his life in 1967, when he was miraculously healed of renal tuberculosis. In 1978, he was called of God into ministry that set into motion over forty years of signs, wonders, and miracles. He has pastored four churches, two of which he founded. In 2015, he founded Love, Light, & Life Bible School, which he presently remains director and teacher.
Coach White has authored three previous books: 1) Kingdom of Light; 2) Garden of Love; 3) The Nitty Gritty of God’s Love, Relativity & Quantum Mechanics
Today, Coach Joe White continues to influence every life he comes into contact with. Lives he touched in the past continue his influence to generations today. His legacy lives on.
